I will look into a way to do that when I find the time.
Right now the space is there just for the reason that you cannot have a space as the first character in a parameter.

So if you were trying to pass ending=” read more” to the plugin the leading space before “read more” would be automatically removed by EE.

I’ll figure out something…

Nice one.

I’ve always had to add all possible closing tags manually to prevent formatting messes.

Of course, I haven’t tried it yet, but if it does what you say it does, you’ve saved a bit of hassle.

Great plugin. Can you implement an option so that there will NOT be a space between the last word/character being truncated and the inline or ending string?
